I had breakfast for all the day of my exams and I felt that I was able to do stuff quicker, I am always so slow. sigh, -.-'' The research paper some researchers did was awesome, should have listen to them earlier. Never had breakfast in the morning during school days, will do it for the rest of my exam, which is next year. See you Mr exams.
This indicates the start of freedom!! watching video right now, relaxing myself like mad :)
And the next two day will be marking days. Teachers will be chionging, WE will be relaxing, having fun :))
Tomorrow will be going to class BBQ. Have not had  a BBQ for as long as I can remember, the last was like two years? Really can't remember. Hope it will be good, thinking of BBQ chicken wing, corn, FRIES etc Yummy, I am so greedy.
This is really short but bye.

Hi again.
I know I shouldn't be here but just to sort of relax. Typing about stuff. :))
It is thurs now. One week before the EYAs start. sianz. Have everything that need to revise at the side of my table but can't seem to find the feelings?? to even touch it. Touch it, see it, smell it everyday, the notes can't seem effortlessly drain into my brain.
Let me tell you sth interesting!
I lost my calculators two times late week, found it on the first time but it just disappear into the thin air at the second time. Went to buy one, $20, exams are near. Then went to buy sticker from accounts dept. turned out that they only sell on Wed before 4.30pm. That's what the person told me. No choice, went down today (it's 12.30am now) to buy it. Guess what. The operation hour of the account dept its from 9am-4pm!!! so the people of the account dept are so self sacrificial, passionate and love that job that they will even stay back to sell only stickers!! We are so fortunate, we should count our blest.
Anyway why do they only sell them on wed. Don't they have extra. What if there's not enough, come back next week?? And the person who sold me the ticket was the one who STRESS the 4.30pm time. May have their reason but isn't it so weird o.0

Nothing much. Wish me luck for the exams. Heehee :))

Note: Ms Abbas, the F&N pt blog is below in case you can't find it.

Now I'll like to assess Xueli's blog-http://happyfoodies.blogspot.com/

Her diet is detailed  and she used the HPB tools efffectively to analyse her diet.
Her diet shows that she did not consume enough energy and protein which is essential in our growth.
Her suggestion is healthy as she took note of the fact that olive oil is more healthier than normal oil as it has more monosaturated fats, which is the good fat and will certainly reduce her fats intake. Her suggestion of adding more vegetables will indeed increase the dietary fibre content of the meal and thus, will be healthier for consumation.

Please note that my other comment is on the comment post on Chelsea's blog-http://foodalwayssogood.blogspot.com/

Thanks.

Just posting to lighten the spirits. Out of the homework/PT atmosphere.
Yesterday, there was this red/dark pink ink on my table. (don't ask for the reason)
I smudged it on my hand accidentally so there was this string of ink on my arm. The second time I forgot it was there. Smudge again. Third time I forgot and place my hand on it, didn't see the smudge, thought it was dry. Hit it a few time with my palm. Smudge on my palm. OMG. it's not dry yet!! Realise the third smudge on my arm. WTH. Four smudges. It is still there now. Quite cool. ( I bathe ok. TWICE.)
Was presented contemporary dance during assembly, called 'Silence'. When u dance, of course is silence lah. Dancers don't talk/sing when they dance. Sort of slept through it cos I was taken aback when the class list was passed to me. The dance was about urban life, don't understand why.
Should go back to my work now. EXAMS are coming ... in less than two weeks. Sigh.

F&N PT :)

Now it is the third component: Suggesting a one-dish meal that is healthy.

Here is a photo of the Clay pot meal I took on 1/9/10. It contains rice and chicken in case you can't really see the chicken cos it is like the same colour as the rice.

I will like to modify it by adding vegetables to increase the dietary fibre content in the meal and also to remove the skin of the chicken before cooking it to reduce the amount of fats.

After the suggestion of a healthy meal, it is the part of reflecting of the process and learning point of this PT.
Hereby, I will say that I learnt a lot from this PT. Firstly, I learnt from my eating habit that I generally eat food of the protein and fats groups and little of the vegetable group.

Thus, I do not consider my diet healthy. this is due to that I consume little of the vegetable group which is important in providing essential dietary fibre to aid ease constipation. Also, I consume large amount of sweet which is unhealthy to my teeth and will be store as fats if unused. Also, I eat supper which is unhealthy as the digested food will be store as fats as through the night only small amount of energy is needed.

The nutritional tools provided is useful as it is fairly accurate for it required us to key in the amount taken for each food and not the amount generally. The food intake assessment allowed me to have a general idea of the nutrients I lack and it was according to the RDA, making it accurate. Overall, the tools allow me to know the composition of each type of food allowing me to know whether to increase in the quantity eaten or reduce it, leading me to lead a healthier lifestyle. I also find the tools effective as it even allow meal that are home-cooked and not only the general food sold in public places.

The suggested one-meal dish is healthy as with the vegetables, the composition of the food will be more balanced and also will provide the dietary fibre which I lacked. Also with the removal of the chicken skin, it reduces the fats intake which will also decrease the risk of heart related diseases.

That's about it.

Food Intake assessment

Recipe Analysis

Energy&Nutrient Composition of Foods

That's all. The following will be the suggestion of improvement of a dish.

F&N PT

Posting on my F&N PT which required us to
  1. Trace my three days diet
  2. Analyse the diet
  3. Suggest a one-dish meal that is healthy
  4. Reflect on the process and learning points
It will be in a few posts to make each post short and sweet.

Here is my diet...it is from 1st September to 3rd September.

My three day diet!

The amount I ate is around the given amount for I couldn't weigh it.
That's all, the analysis will be on the next post. :)

Random

Hi all!

Going to post sth on this post since I created it.
Anyway, I went to RI yesterday to fold CRANES for charity. Went there to actually to get CIP hours
like who will not, it's just folding cranes but found it quite fun. Many schools went there to fold, surprise to me loh like how do they know about it!! There were pri, sec & even jc, the whole gym was damn filled. Sat in front of a group of pri school boys, they were like playing instead of folding-throwing paper, playing Nintendo DS, talking, eating. The funny thing was that there was this boy don't know how to fold, was 'dicovered' like one and half hour later that he don't know how to fold, wondered what he was doing all that time. The teacher was so blur loh walking around yet don't know the boy don't know how to fold. lol.

Can't remember how many cranes I folded, quite a lot I think. Wondered how many there was in overall. Left like nearly 3h later, cos everyone was leaving and my fingers were kinda aching, but nvm it was for charity.
So bored especially lessons now the HOLIDAYS are coming!! followed by the eyas.sianz.
Can't seem to think of any title/name for my blog. Will change soon. I hope.
